Portal2EU team is coming to Berlin

We are thrilled to announce that the Portal2EU group will be presenting the result of our 18-month work at a large-scale conference in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany. This conference will take place on the premises of Freie Universität Berlin from 25 to 27 September 2023.

In our presentation, our team members will delve into the topic of Improving EU Digital Public Consultations Processes. Specifically, we will talk about digital participation within the European Union and the challenges of the Have Your Say platform. Moreover, we will introduce our policy recommendations concerning 3 key pillars – Accessibility, Transparency, and Outreach. At the end of the presentation, we will take questions from the audience.

At the conference, our dear fellow Europaeum scholars will also give presentations on a diverse range of themes, such as the rights of seasonal agricultural workers in the EU, the gamification of democracy and the empowerment of Renewable Energy Communities.

We are very excited to share our policy proposal with a wider audience of academics, policy makers and other professionals, and also to finally learn more about the work our colleagues have done over the course of the Europaeum Scholars Programme.
